Mai Tai

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ounce light rum
  • 1/4 ounce orgeat
  • 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier or Cointreau
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 ounce simple syrup
  • 1 ounce dark rum, for floater
  • Sprig of mint, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients, except the dark rum and mint garnish, to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a rocks glass or tiki mug, filled with crushed ice. 
  3. Garnish with rum floater and mint sprig, if desired.
