Ken Cook Co. was founded in 1944, the same year Victor "Trader Vic" Bergeron invented the Mai Tai. This tasty tropical treat has seen many variations over the years, but nothing can beat the original Trader Vic's!

• 1 ounce light rum
• 1/4 ounce orgeat
• 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier or Cointreau liqueur
• 1 ounce fresh lime juice
• 1/4 ounce simple syrup
• 1 ounce dark rum, for floater
• Sprig of mint, for garnish

1. Add all ingredients, except the dark rum and mint garnish, to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until well-chilled.
2. Strain into a rocks glass or tiki mug filled with crushed ice. 
3. Garnish with rum floater and mint sprig, if desired.
