Orange Banana Smoothie

INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats (dry)
- 1 orange, zested, peeled, and quartered
- Half of a peeled banana, frozen
- 2 dates, pitted and chopped
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 3/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 cup ice cubes (or more, depending on how thick you like your smoothie)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend oats in a high-power blender until powdery.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Pour into 16-ounce glass.
Time-Saver Tips:
- Peel and halve bananas in advance and freeze in freezer bags until ready for use.
- I also like to prep the oranges and dates for 2 to 3 smoothies and store as individual portions in the fridge.
