Grilled Barbecue Chicken Legs

INGREDIENTS
- 12 to 14 chicken drumsticks
- Salt and pepper, to taste, or your favorite BBQ rub (homemade or store-bought), to taste
- 1 cup of your favorite barbecue sauce (homemade or store-bought)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Sprinkle the chicken legs with your preferred seasoning.
- For a charcoal grill, grill chicken on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals, turning as needed to prevent burning. Grill for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the thickest part reaches 180°F.
- For a gas grill, preheat the grill. Reduce heat to medium; place chicken on grill rack over heat. Cover and grill as above.
- During the last 5 minutes or so of grilling, baste the chicken with your favorite barbecue sauce.
